Hello! I am an ASHA ( American Speech Language & Hearing Association) certified, licensed Speech Language Pathologist. I have a Masters of Science in Speech Pathology and a Masters in Music for Voice Performance. I have completed training and passed the exam to be a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist.
I help with voice issues, articulation, phonological disorders, social pragmatic communication, phonemic awareness, executive functioning, vocabulary development/academic language use, stuttering, cluttering, Selective Mutism and Autism supports.
Perhaps you have questions about your child's language development, speech skills, social interaction or if they are at risk for reading difficulties. We will arrange a time to speak with you over the phone or through a virtual meeting so you can get a sense of what therapy is like.
I am Anne, and I am glad you are visiting. I have been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2008, and have worked with clients from 2 years old through adult, but the majority of my experience has come through preschool to 22 years of age. Please reach out with any questions on how I can help you or your family.
It is painful to watch your child struggle. Frustration, refusals, and avoidance may set in after trying and trying with no results. The heart ache begins when classmates begin to surpass your child at every turn. There is a way to help.
Evaluations are available, and typically are recommended before beginning therapy. Therapy is available in 30 , 45 or 60 minute sessions. I do not bill insurance at this time. I do provide home programs and resources for activities to complete in between sessions.
I also provide Structured Literacy Therapy to help people with Dyslexia improve reading, spelling and writing abilities. This is not Speech & Language therapy for communication, but educational literacy therapy. Please contact me with questions regarding this service and costs.
Includes a written evaluation report for the client
Sessions are provided virtually or at your location with provisions
Virtual Therapy allows for you to join in from any location with appropriate equipment . You only need consistent internet signal, a camera + screen and a quiet space.
Virtual therapy does not involve travel, traffic, or transportation. You can still make appointments even if you are out of town so that progress continues. You can use mobile devices to join the session if that is the only option available.
Virtual therapy allows the client to see themselves while working with the SLP. It allows parents to get coaching in their own home on skills with their children in the moment. It allows the client to choose who is involved in therapy each session rather than be limited by schedules, vehicles and location.
Please contact us directly with any questions, comments, or scheduling inquiries you may have.
